Hopefully it’s still not to late to wish all Tips Hartanah members, readers and visitor a good and Happy New Year! Selamat Tahun Baru 2007.. and hopefully all your 2006 resolutions have been achieved by you.
Talking about the property market outlook or what will the trend for property market in 2007 is very exciting. Besides the rumours that saying interest will be up, price of fuel will be up and almost everything will be UP… (except the salary.. hehehe..).. people are still seem to ignore those rumours and continue buying properties especially houses/residential properties. I am also currently quite busy dealing with many of those who are buying properties, and also looking for properties either for their own-stay or investment purpose. So if you’re one of the property owner (especially in Klang Valley) you can contact me if you’re intent to sell your property to my current clients.
Back to the property market outlook for 2007, I’m personally think that the property market will continue it’s momentum and hits higher number in total number of transactions as well as total amounts of property value this year. This is based on 2006 performance in property market and current market activities especially the supply of many newer properties almost everywhere with better promotion and unique design of the developent offers by the developer. Many of the developments launched in 2006 still continue with it’s marketing and newer projects in the pipeline are ready to pour into the market this year to add the current supply. With certain areas and location are experiencing a saturated market for properties supply, this is a different case for certain properties and ‘Hot’ location – that labelled as Most-wanted areas.
These so-called ‘Wanted’ properties and location is seems not to be affected even more supply are added into the list as there are still many prospects are willing and always ready to spent their ‘RM’ like there will be a sure appreciation in value for the properties. To certain extent, I have to admit this is true based on my experience as those properties and locations were not affected during the economic recession during 1997/1998. What?? Recession? yeahh.. if you listen to what the economics say, the ecomomic cycle is about 10 years, which means… we are coming into the peak of it (as in 1997)… and ready to …. huhhhh.. will it happen again??… this can be monitor closely by this year property trend, as property market is always the clear indicator of the status or economics trends of a country.
